I recently had an unfortunate experience of major water damage in my home. Elmer Cos Xec, of Georgia Water and Fire Restoration was assigned as the Project Manager overseeing the repairs/renovations.
Elmer, along with his repair/renovation team, Nelson Garcia and Arturo Perez, turned a stressful situation into a genuinely positive one. From day one, they brought professionalism, transparency and care. What impressed me most was their integrity and attention to detail. Given that I was not able to see their progress on a weekly basis, it was necessary for Elmer’s team to complete most of the work without my direct oversight and based purely on what I asked Elmer to relay to Nelson. Elmer, who was always accommodating, communicated with me clearly, at every stage and gave relevant information to Nelson to complete the renovations based on my specifications. I always felt informed and supported. They showed up when they said they would and made sure I understood every decision along the way. When I was finally able to see the completed work, I observed that their workmanship was outstanding and the finished result is even better than before the damage occurred.
Overall, Elmer and everyone who I came into contact with at Georgia Water and Fire Restoration, during this process, demonstrated professionalism, friendliness and respect. I would confidently recommend Georgia Water and Fire Restoration to anyone facing home restoration or reconstruction.

Georgia Water & Fire Restoration completed repairs on my house in 2025 after a tree damaged the upstairs. Alex and his team were very professional, well detailed, and ensured the house was restored better than before. I recently had an HVAC issue that was caused by the original builder and not the restoration work. Alex and his crew took time to assess the issue and offered to fix the issue without cost.
